Who we are
Restora Clinic is a private women's health clinic operated by RESTORA CLINIC LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17404698. Registered office and correspondence address: 114 New Cavendish Street, London W1W 6XT. You can reach us at contact@restoraclinic.com.
Your care is provided by a team rather than by one person. That includes a Women's Health Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, laboratory and phlebotomy partners, and practitioners working in nutrition and lifestyle medicine. Which of them is involved depends on what you need, and we tell you who they are before anything is shared with them.
These terms apply when you buy anything from this website. Please read the section on cancelling before you buy, because some of it is time limited.
Who we can look after
Our services are for adults aged 18 and over.
The interpretation we offer is built on female reproductive and hormonal physiology. Our panels, the ranges we read against and the way we read a result all assume physiology that has not been altered by gender-affirming hormone therapy or surgery. That is a limit on what this clinic is set up to interpret accurately, not a judgement about anybody, and where it applies we will say so honestly and point you towards a clinician who specialises in that care.
Tell us before you buy if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you take an anticoagulant or have a bleeding or clotting disorder, or if you have ever fainted having blood taken. None of those rules anything out on its own. They change how we do this, and occasionally whether we should.
If we cannot serve you well, we will decline the booking and refund what you have paid in full.
What we provide, and how
We provide private consultations, laboratory testing and follow up care in women's health.
Everything we do is online. We do not currently see patients in person. The only part of our service that happens face to face is a phlebotomist visiting your home, and only if you choose that option for a blood test.
We work alongside NHS care and we do not replace your GP.
Paying
You pay on this website when you buy. The price shown on the product page is the price you pay, and there is nothing added at checkout.
Klarna is available at checkout if you want to spread the cost. The total is the same either way. Klarna's terms, eligibility and any charges are between you and Klarna, not with us. 18+, UK residents only, terms apply, missed payments could affect your ability to borrow.
Cancelling, and your statutory rights
This section is the important one and we would rather set it out plainly than bury it.
Your right to cancel
Because you are buying at a distance, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel, for any reason and without giving one. You do not need our agreement and you do not need a reason.
If you ask us to start within those 14 days, which most people do, you keep the right to cancel and you pay a proportionate amount for what has actually been provided by the time you tell us. So if a kit has been posted, an appointment has been held or a laboratory has run your sample, that part is payable and the rest is refunded.
For the starting kit supplied with the Restored Programme, the 14 days run from the day it is delivered to you, because it is goods rather than a service.
To cancel, write to contact@restoraclinic.com. We will confirm in writing and refund within 14 days of agreeing what is due.
After the 14 days
After that period the Restored Programme is committed, because the testing, the appointments and the kit are bought up front on your behalf. If at any point we conclude that we are not the right clinic for you, we will say so, refund the part you have not used, and tell you where to go instead. We will not keep you on something that is not working.
Appointments
You can change or cancel an appointment yourself using the link in your confirmation and reminder emails.
| When | What you can do |
|---|---|
| More than 24 hours before | Cancel for a full refund, or reschedule |
| Between 24 and 12 hours before | Reschedule only |
| Less than 12 hours before | The appointment can no longer be changed or cancelled |
Outside those windows the fee is not refundable, because your time is held for you and cannot usually be offered to anyone else at short notice. We would far rather you moved an appointment than lost it, so please reschedule as early as you can. Nothing in this table removes the 14 day right above.
Missed appointments
If you do not attend, or we cannot reach you, we will try to contact you up to 3 times. If we still cannot, it is recorded as missed. If you then ask for a refund we will refund 50%, with the remainder covering the clinical time reserved for you. If something went wrong and you genuinely could not attend, tell us. We will listen before applying this.
Blood tests
Blood testing is offered two ways: a kit posted to your home which you use yourself, or a venous sample taken at your address by a phlebotomist.
Arranging your date. You give us 3 dates that suit you and we reply within 2 working days, confirming the date that is right for the markers we are measuring rather than simply the first one free. A date is not confirmed until we write to you. We will tell you if we cannot cover your area.
Timing and preparation. Some markers only mean anything at a particular time of day or point in your cycle. We tell you exactly how to prepare when we confirm your date.
Turnaround. The laboratory takes 3 to 5 working days from receiving your sample. Your written report follows once it has been read against your history.
If a sample cannot be used. If the kit arrives faulty, is damaged in transit, or fails for a reason that is not your doing, we replace it at no cost to you. Where a repeat is needed for another reason, the laboratory charges for it and we will tell you the figure before anything is sent again. We will never re-test you without telling you what it costs first.
The Restored Programme
The Restored Programme runs for 90 days and includes supervised follow through, 2 blood tests each with a written report, 3 consultations, a care plan, a long term aftercare plan, a starting kit of physical products, a weekly 30 minute live session which is recorded, and access to the Restora community.
Joining the community is optional. Nothing about your care depends on it.
Places are limited, because proper follow through cannot be offered to an unlimited number of people at once.
Day 90 ends with your next appointment available to you if you want one. It is a separate booking that you choose. Nothing renews automatically and nothing continues to charge you.
Credit for what you have already paid
What you have paid us for a blood test, a results review or a consultation is credited against the Restored Programme if you join it.
- The credit applies to fees you have actually paid to Restora Clinic.
- It lasts 60 days from the date of the purchase it relates to.
- It is applied once, against the Restored Programme fee. It cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred to anyone else.
- Where you have paid for more than one thing, the credits are combined into a single code, because only one discount code can be used on an order.
Being offered a credit does not oblige you to join anything, and we will not recommend the programme where it is not clinically appropriate for you.
Third parties involved in your care
We work with other companies and practitioners to deliver parts of our service. That includes blood testing, sample logistics and laboratory analysis, phlebotomists attending your home, and elements of nutrition and lifestyle work.
Who they are, and what will be shared with them, is explained to you before anything is shared. Each is bound by confidentiality. We remain responsible for the care we provide and for choosing who we work with.
Prescribing
We do not write prescriptions, and buying anything here does not mean you will be prescribed anything.
What we do is assess you properly, work out what you need, and put the reasoning in writing so that whoever prescribes for you has something to act on. Where a prescription is appropriate, it is written by a qualified prescriber after their own assessment. We will not press for a medicine where it would not be appropriate or safe.
Testing, and what a result is
Testing is carried out by an accredited laboratory. Results are read alongside your history and your symptoms. A test result on its own is not a diagnosis.
Please also know that your GP is not obliged to act on a result from a private test, and some will not. If that happens, tell us and we will tell you what the alternatives are and what they cost.
What we do not provide
We do not provide emergency or out of hours care. If you are unwell and it cannot wait, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.
How we contact you
We contact you by email and telephone, and by WhatsApp where you have started a conversation with us there. Please keep messaging to practical questions. Detailed health information is taken in your consultation, not by message.
Information on this website
Everything on this website is general health education. It is not medical advice, it is not tailored to you, and it should not be relied on in place of a consultation about your own circumstances.
Your responsibilities
Please give us accurate and complete information about your health, your medicines and your history, because we can only advise on what we are told. Where somebody attends your home, tell us anything we need to know about access or safety.
Your records and your data
We keep a clinical record of your care and hold it securely, and we carry it forward so that later appointments start from what we already know. How your information is handled, what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights over it are set out in our privacy policy.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong we would rather hear it directly, including where the problem is with somebody acting for us. Write to contact@restoraclinic.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and respond properly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and nothing in them removes rights you have under consumer law.
